Blogger and The Brand Event | NYFW

Hello Fashionistas!

One thing I like the most about fashion week, besides the shows, is the fashion itself. I love seeing other bloggers and fashion enthusiasts rock the trends of the season. NYFW inspires me to play around with new textures and styles and pushes me out of my comfort zone.

Ombre Digitals invited me to the Bloggers and the Brand event where bloggers were able to connect with different brands and network. I had the opportunity to meet Kelly and Courtney founders of  Mimosas and Manhattan (blogger goals). The girls were part of a panel and offered great blogging tips! For a full recap of the event click here.

For this event, I decided to step out my comfort zone and try these over-the-knee patent leather boots. This material reminds me a lot of latex and I am obsessed with the latex fall/winter trend. Thick and chunky see-through heels are also a big trend for the season as seen in Dior's fall/winter collection. I paired the boots with a mini-bodycon suede dress. Mixing textures was very fun! The blush color dress was a coincidence but I ain't complaining!  At this point, I decided to make the entire look about the color pink and paired the outfit with a blush color bomber jacket, another first for me. I wore the jacket using the drape style to give the look a little bit of edge.
It goes without saying, I was very satisfied with how the look came out! I encourage all of you to step out of your comfort zone and try new things! It is so much fun.
My makeup was done by my amazing bestfriend Yoency Paulino. IG | @Yoencyp12

I hope you all enjoy this look!
Much Love,
